(Google Analytics for Firebase)
(Firebase Remote Config)
(Google AdMob)
|---|---|
| Google Analytics for Firebase |
| Firebase Remote Config |
| Apple App Store / Google Play |

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains how Twelve Hearts (“the game”), developed by Xo Games Studio (“we”), handles information on iOS and Android. We do not ask you to create an account, and the game never asks for your name, email or phone number.
In short: your progress is saved on your device. We collect usage statistics through Firebase only to the extent you allow in Settings, and the game shows ads from Google AdMob after asking for your consent where the law requires it. We do not sell your data, and we never use analytics for advertising.
1. What is saved on your device
The game saves your progress (heroes, weapons, stages, currencies, settings and language) in a file inside the app's storage on your device. This file is never sent to us and is removed when you delete the game. There is no cloud sync in this version.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played and to improve it: for example which stages are played, which cards are chosen, wins and losses, which screens are opened, in-game purchases, and performance measurements such as loading time and frame smoothness. These events never contain your name, your email, the advertising identifier, or any text you type.
- Sharing on: when the “Share usage data” switch in Settings is on, events are sent with Firebase's random app-instance identifier.
- Sharing off: if you turn it off and you are in the EU or the UK (or your region is unknown), analytics stop completely. If you turn it off outside those regions, only aggregated event counts are sent, once per session, without storing analytics identifiers.
- When you turn sharing off, we ask Firebase to delete the analytics data stored on the device.
- Nothing is sent before the consent step finishes on first launch.
- In every case we deny Firebase the use of this data for advertising or ad personalisation.
Firebase may infer an approximate location (country or city) from the IP address it receives. The game never asks for location permission.
3. Remote configuration (Firebase Remote Config)
From time to time the game fetches balance settings (such as reward amounts and stage difficulty) from Firebase Remote Config. Each fetch sends the random Firebase installation ID, whatever your data-sharing choice, because that is how the service works. The game also reads the current time from a Google server to check daily rewards. Without internet the game uses the values built into it.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: rewarded ads you choose to watch, and an ad between runs after some victories. AdMob collects device and ad-interaction information (such as device and advertising identifiers and IP address) to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, under the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.
- Consent: where the law requires it (such as the EU and the UK), Google's consent form (UMP) asks you before personalised ads, and you can change your choice from “Privacy options” in Settings.
- Tracking on iOS: iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you don't, ads stay non-personalised. You can change this in the system Settings; the game's “Tracking settings” button takes you there.
5. In-game purchases
Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card number or payment details. We receive the store's purchase receipt to verify it and deliver what you bought, and analytics record the product type and the result of the purchase.
6. Third parties
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Usage and performance statistics (as you choose) |
| Firebase Remote Config | Remote balance settings, with the installation ID |
| Google AdMob and the UMP consent SDK | Showing ads and asking for consent |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | Purchases and restoring them |
Google acts as our service provider. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
7. Retention and deletion
Google keeps analytics data for the retention period set in Firebase. You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings, and deleting the game deletes your progress file. To request deletion of any data linked to your device, email us at the address below.
8. Children
The game is for a general audience and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has shared data with us, email us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its processing. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the game.
